Based in Sydney, Australia, I work in various areas of the ​​​​​​​3D pipeline to create immersive animations and visual experiences. I have experience fulfilling the whole design and delivery of projects, with a special interest in surfacing and look-development. MODELLING AND SURFACING

I created all elements of this ramen stand render for a personal project. The aim was to emulate the look of 'stylised realism' often used in 3D feature films.

I entered into Substance Painter's 'Meet Mat 3' 3D Digital Painting Contest in 2024. Each contestant is given the same base mesh, and has the freedom to create whichever design they wish. I chose to go with a steampunk theme.

SIMULATION

My skills extend to creating CGI simulations and procedural animations, which can be applied to a variety of projects.

Procedural Animation with Blender Geometry Nodes

3D MOTION DESIGN

This 3D to 2D logo animation was created for a Greek Restaurant 'Filippou'. It was used in a documentary about the history of the restaurant.

Following the brief and using the original restaurant logo as a guide, I created this animation in Blender.

 

By delivering multiple iterations, I ensured the client's vision came to life, capturing the essence of their brand through dynamic animation.

SACAAN

Sacaan is a 3D virtual village set in the stylised landscape of a fantasy planet. Made in Unity, the work combines inspiration from historical architecture and sci-fi themes to create a communal space that players can explore and interact with.

FLASH FOOTAGE

Created using Unreal Engine 5 and MetaHuman Creator, this animation was an exercise to emulate the look of overexposed flash footage, evoking an eerie and uncanny feeling.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

In my down-time, I research and develop different techniques for stylising 3D Animation.

After modelling this character, I used nodes to create custom procedural toon shaders and lineart. (Animation and rig provided by Mixamo).
